Home - Our Houses - Orange County House - Staying at the House
Ronald McDonald House® Orange County gives families a place to rest, recharge, and stay close to their child’s medical care. Families have access to private guest rooms, warm meals, laundry facilities, shared kitchens, communal gathering spaces, outdoor areas, Wi-Fi, and other everyday essentials that make an extended stay away from home a little easier.
Stays at Ronald McDonald House Orange County begin with a referral from a hospital social worker. Families cannot self-refer.
To be eligible for a stay, families must meet the following criteria:
Please note: A room referral does not guarantee a stay, but we make every effort to accommodate all eligible families. Same-day requests are welcome.
Since opening in 1989, we have worked closely with medical partners to support families whose children are receiving medical treatment in the area.
For questions regarding overnight accommodations or the referral process, please contact us at 714-639-3600.
Caring for families means supporting the whole family. Family Support Services (FSS) extend the continuum of care through therapeutic activities, meaningful connections, and resources that help families feel supported and strengthened throughout their journey. These professionals are available to families in person, as well as by phone and video, ensuring families can access the support, guidance, and resources they need in the way that works best for them.
