Every member of a family can experience a child’s medical journey differently. Family Support Services provides personalized support, therapeutic activities, education, and opportunities for connection designed to strengthen caregivers, children, teens, siblings, and families as a whole.
Families can participate in the ways that feel right for them, whether they are looking for someone to talk with, opportunities to connect with other families, helpful tools and resources, or simply moments to be together.
Sometimes it helps to have someone there to listen. FSS offers private, supportive conversations for individuals, couples, children, and families in a setting where they can share what they’re experiencing and explore what support may be most helpful.
FSS provides support, not therapy. There is no diagnosing, and families choose how and when they would like to engage.
Navigating a child’s healthcare journey can bring questions and challenges that change along the way. Family Support Services has gathered resources to help caregivers, children, teens, and siblings understand what they’re experiencing, build coping skills, and adjust throughout the journey.
