Home - Our Family Rooms - Ventura Family Room - Guest Information
When your child is receiving care at Ventura County Medical Center, even stepping away for a meal, or a moment to rest can feel difficult. The Ronald McDonald House® Family Room provides families with essential resources and a place to recharge inside the hospital, just steps from their child’s room.
For those who need a deeper moment of rest or moment to themselves, the Quiet Room offers three private nap pods in a peaceful setting, along with two private restrooms. Each nap pod includes a sound machine , creating a quiet space to rest during long days at the hospital.
The Family Room serves families with children receiving care on Floor 2 at Ventura County Medical Center, our Child and Maternal Healthcare floor.
Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times while visiting the Family Room.
Caring for families means supporting the whole family. Family Support Services (FSS) extend our continuum of care through therapeutic activities, meaningful connections, and resources that help families feel supported and strengthened throughout their journey. These professionals are available to families both onsite and in person, as well as by phone and video, ensuring families can access the support, guidance, and resources they need in the way that works best for them.
