About Ronald McDonald House® Westside Los Angeles
For more than three decades, the Westside medical community has envisioned a Ronald McDonald House where families could stay close while their children receive world-class medical care. Today, that vision is becoming a reality.
Ronald McDonald House Westside Los Angeles is now temporarily open with 11 guest rooms and a full floor of family services, offering a place to rest after long hospital days, enjoy warm meals, find everyday essentials, and the comfort of a caring community, just steps from their children’s hospital care.
Our work is just beginning. Once fully open, our House will grow from 11 guest rooms to 33, allowing us to welcome even more families whose children are receiving care at UCLA Children’s Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s, and other West Los Angeles medical facilities.
Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; the completed House will be more than a place to stay. It will be a place of comfort and care where families can stay close, take a breath, find a moment of peace, and feel supported when they need it most.
When a child is receiving medical care, families should not have to worry about where they will sleep, what they will eat, or how they will make it through another long day. They should be able to focus on what matters most: being together and being there for their child.
